I'm not sure if you get the comments from the old site, so I thought I'd repost it here for you. Regarding mystery and whether it needs a murder: Popped by Carol Higgins Clark Santa Cruise by Mary Higgins Clark and Carol Higgins Clark Popped is the better of the two. Personally, I'm looking for non-murder mysteries. If well-written, most puzzles can send chills down your spine, and greed isn't the only motive for theft. There's also love, revenge, and envy, to name a few.
